I’m a month into the semester already, but it seems like summer was just yesterday.
I’ve been swamped with school, work and a social life. It’s been hard to get anything done.
However, I was able to squeeze in a senior pictures session a few weeks ago.
I also had some of my photography on display at Paradigm Coffeehouse in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It was such an honor! I even had one print that sold to a lady from Chicago! I’ll try and get some pictures of the show up ASAP.
School has been going great so far. I’m currently in a watercolor II class and a 2D design class. I also want to get pictures up of my first few projects.
So, please, stay tuned! I really want to get back into the swing of things, so expect more regular updates!

I tweaked the layout a bit over at my photography portfolio. I didn’t change much, just added a little info.
I also added some new photos and got rid of older ones.
There is one major downfall with being a perfectionist. I am constantly changing and updating things because I get sick of them and I always feel like I can do better. I suppose that’s not really a downfall, but it’s difficult to keep things consistent sometimes.

This is the latest self portrait added to my portfolio.
At first, this photo started out as nothing but an experiment. I was attempting to spark my imagination by messing around with some manipulations. I was also brainstorming a concept for a series that I’m going to be starting soon. This was the result.
However, the more I look at it, I’m beginning to see a message form. Perhaps this was my subconscious telling me that I’m finally “breaking out” of this creative block I’ve been stuck in for a while. Hopefully, this will lead to a lot more unique projects. Even if they are a little weird and creepy.
